Middle school teacher Van Vandagriff, Jr. came to Detroit for a series of lessons on designing and building medieval machines of destruction, and he brought his trebuchet with him! The Bezalel Boys will have a few classes to scheme and dream, and then they will try to recreate this hurling contraption. If they can build their own trebuchet and it shoots a tennis ball rocket farther than Mr. Van’s, they’ll win a pizza party to boot! How cool is that?!
